The EMOTIV EPOC X is a 14-channel wireless EEG headset targeting researchers, developers, and advanced consumers. Featuring saline-felt sensors at positions AF3, F7, F3, FC5, T7, P7, O1, O2, P8, T8, FC6, F4, F8, AF4 in the international 10-20 system, it samples at 256 Hz (2048 Hz internal) with 14-bit resolution. The EPOC X supports motion detection via a 3-axis accelerometer and connects via Bluetooth or the included USB receiver. Compatible with EMOTIV PRO for research and EMOTIV Launcher for consumer applications. Widely used in academic affective computing, gaming, neuromarketing, and accessibility research.
